Compensation:
COP 14M - 17M/month.

Responsibilities and more:
We are looking for a talented and motivated Backend / DevOps / Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to help us design, build, and optimize our large-scale, high-performance data analytics platform. This role requires expertise in modern backend technologies, particularly Rust and Go, with an emphasis on public cloud platforms, distributed systems, and low-latency, high-throughput APIs. You will be key to developing highly scalable and performant systems capable of processing amounts of data. This data will be used to power and be powered by AI/ML systems, and drive the utility of our APIs and platform forward.

Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement high-performance backend services and APIs using Rust and Go, tailored for data analytics applications at massive scale.
- Build distributed systems optimized for low latency, high throughput, and fault tolerance to handle large volumes of data efficiently.
- Collaborate with relevant teams to ensure seamless integration across all parts of the platform.
- Work with public cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure) to architect and deploy scalable solutions.
- Leverage containerization, such as Docker, and orchestration tools, such as Kubernetes, to ensure highly available and resilient infrastructure.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline code deployment and system updates.
- Build and optimize asynchronous data processing pipelines to support real-time and batch data analysis.
- Focus on performance optimization, reducing latency, and ensuring scalability of APIs and backend systems.
- Implement best practices in code quality, testing, and security to ensure the robustness of the platform.
- Leverage state-of-the-art AI/ML tools to power the platform.

Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in backend engineering, particularly in building large-scale, high-performance systems.
- Proficiency in Rust and Go programming languages.
- Strong experience with public cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and cloud-native services.
- Expertise in containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
- Deep understanding of distributed systems architecture, asynchronous processing, and handling large-scale data throughput.
- Proven experience in building low-latency, high-performance APIs.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment practices.
- Solid understanding of system performance tuning, profiling, and optimization techniques.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with AI/ML tools and pipelines is a plus,
- Experience in the cybersecurity, insurance, data analytics, or AI/ML industries.
- Familiarity with event-driven architectures, message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ), and stream processing technologies.
- Knowledge of database technologies, both SQL and NoSQL.
